ITC Classmate - On Print Web AR Campaign
"The Study Table That Jumped Off the Page" Turning a newspaper ad into an immersive brand experience
Print AR Experience

Project Overview
The Brief
ITC Classmate is known primarily for notebooks , but the brand offers a full range of stationery products too. Consumer perception hadn't caught up. Classmate needed a way to broaden that awareness through an engaging print campaign that could extend beyond the page.
My Approach
I started by researching the target audience i.e children , and their study habits and found that a huge chunk of their time is spent at their study table. That insight became the anchor for the concept: what if the ad itself became that study table?
From there, I mapped out a screen-by-screen user journey, designing how someone would move from scanning a newspaper ad to exploring a full 3D world in their own space. I also guided the creative team on the look and feel of the 3D models to keep them true to Classmate's playful, colorful brand identity.
The Solution
Scanning the print ad launched an AR experience that placed a full 3D study table right in the user's own space , surrounded by Classmate's complete product range, not just notebooks. A "Shop Now" CTA made the moment shoppable instantly, while CGI teasers built anticipation ahead of launch on classmate social media page .
The result: a static print ad became an interactive brand world, repositioning Classmate as a one-stop stationery destination.
